What you will do

• Perform technical design of submarine telecom cable systems, including simulations, calculations, and product property definitions.
• Adapt solutions to customer requirements, standards, and specifications, preparing designs for manufacturing approval.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, installation, quality, and other teams during tender and contract phases.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor assessments, and technical trend studies.
• Evaluate tender documents, support manufacturability, and prepare technical quotations.
• Provide customer-facing support, justify designs, select components, and calculate manufacturing costs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering (preference for Electrical, Mechanical, or Physics).
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering, with experience in electrical, mechanical, and fiber optic calculations/simulations.
• Experience in cable design, optical transmission technologies, and/or marine engineering.
• Familiarity with national and international standards.
• Strong technical knowledge combined with communication skills for internal and customer interactions.
• Availability for business travel.
