Salary: $130,400 - $195,600

What you will do
- Lead technical product design and development for one or more new product development (NPD) programs.
- Manage technical development strategy, risk management, R&D budgeting, and resource forecasting.
- Partner with marketing, operations, quality, and regulatory functions to execute program strategies.
- Mentor and coach R&D staff, providing performance feedback and guidance within a matrixed organization.
- Design studies to investigate life science questions and validate product designs.
- Create design control deliverables and ensure documentation robustness and compliance.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in engineering with 7+ years of experience, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- U.S. work authorization is required (Sponsorship available for this Principal-level role).
Nice to have
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience with Class III medical products and technologies.
- Deep expertise in Quality Management System (QMS) Design Controls.
- PMI PMP certification or significant experience in Project/Program Management.
- Black Belt certification in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability.
