What you will do

• Design and implement scalable cloud-native business systems to manage P&L, capital, and liquidity metrics.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software and AI engineers.
• Implement AI-driven spec-driven development SDLCs to solve complex financial and technical problems.
• Drive organizational change by streamlining engineering processes and adopting new technical best practices.
• Build and maintain key financial metric calculation models and supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Engineering divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including lead developer roles.
• Experience architecting solutions on Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in Java or Python, and competence with RDBs or modern datastores (Snowflake, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Experience managing engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, and guiding career development.
• Location: Must be based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the finance, banking, or FinTech industry.
• Familiarity with financial data and regulatory environments.
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude Code) into enterprise workflows.
