What you will do

• Act as the Designated Person (DP) for the 503A pharmacy to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain pharmacy licensure and ensure constant readiness for state board inspections and internal audits.
• Design and execute a self-inspection program for non-sterile compounding to drive continuous quality improvements.
• Oversee compliant compounding practices, labeling, and documentation for products shipped to various states.
• Lead investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA activities related to quality or compliance events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with pharmacy operations and leadership to proactively manage compliance risks.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in compounding.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and state board of pharmacy regulations for 503A pharmacies.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Gilbert, Arizona.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states.
