What you will do

• Lead daily jobsite activities for electrical and lighting controls installations
• Coordinate labor, materials, and sequencing to meet project schedules
• Supervise installation of lighting fixtures, control systems, and power distribution
• Read electrical drawings, specifications, and control schematics
• Support system startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Maintain project documentation and enforce safety protocols
• Train and mentor field personnel

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
• Prior experience leading crews or in foreman/lead capacity
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (120V–277V)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• On-site work required in Norfolk, VA
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to have

• Journeyman Electrician license (Master license a plus)
• Experience with lighting control systems (0-10V, DALI, DMX, PoE)
• Familiarity with networked systems or building automation (BAS)
• Background in retrofit or renovation projects
• Commissioning and system troubleshooting experience
