What you will do

• Shape Android platform architecture across navigation, networking, storage, and logging to enable pattern reuse across product teams.
• Develop Android client health and observability systems, including events, traces, and dashboards.
• Optimize the developer experience by designing tools, workflows, and CI integrations for safer and faster releases.
• Implement engineering guardrails using lint, static analysis, and AI-assisted reviews.
• Integrate AI into engineering workflows to improve developer productivity and product quality.
• Mentor Android engineers through design reviews, documentation, and education on platform best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building user-facing Android applications in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proven experience working in large Android codebases with 100+ engineers and millions of DAUs.
• Deep expertise in Android platform/infrastructure, shared libraries, or core networking/caching.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin coroutines/Flows, DI (Dagger/Hilt), modularization, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with observability tooling to debug and validate system changes.
• Practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows for measurable benefit.
