Location: Must be based in Ghent, Belgium and able to work in the office 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of key consumer-facing features for the hirify.global Android application.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to influence the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain high-quality shared frameworks and internal libraries.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
• Leverage emerging technologies and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, including MVP, MVVM/Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection (Dagger).
• Proficiency in Coroutines and unit testing practices.
• English proficiency: Fluent, both written and spoken.
• Ability to collaborate with international stakeholders across different time zones.

Nice to have

• Full-stack development experience, including API design and UI wireframing.
• Experience with Material Design guidelines.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
