Salary: $115,000 – $164,600

What you will do

• Define and execute end-to-end test strategies for vehicle observability and control-plane software.
• Design automated tests for APIs (C++, Java, C) across multiple ECUs and host environments.
• Build and maintain automation suites using Robot Framework, Python, gtest/JUnit, and CI systems.
• Perform HIL/SIL and in-vehicle testing, analyzing telemetry and logs to validate requirements.
• Conduct CPU/memory profiling and define quality/performance KPIs to ensure system robustness.
• Mentor engineers on observability best practices and drive defect resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software/embedded systems testing, specifically in safety-critical or automotive domains.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, and Python for test automation and tooling.
• Experience with Robot Framework and CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of vehicle communication protocols including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) in edge contexts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and quality gate orchestration.
