What you will do

• Monitor and document construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections, material verifications, and testing to confirm adherence to approved plans.
• Review and maintain QA documentation, including inspection reports, punch lists, and corrective action logs.
• Coordinate with contractors and project management teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure site compliance with OSHA safety standards and participate in safety audits.
• Support audits and inspections from federal agencies or third-party reviewers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction quality assurance or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes for commercial or government construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and construction management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to walk, climb, and work in varying weather conditions at project sites.

Nice to have

• Experience working on federal construction projects (e.g., DoD, VA, GSA, USACE).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Certification.
• Familiarity with government project documentation standards.
