Managed Assets Research Associate

TL;DR

Managed Assets Research Associate (Investments): Support the research department in developing and maintaining recommendations across mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and managing asset allocation portfolios with an accent on research, communications, and advisor support. Focus on proofreading/editing presentations, responding to ad hoc requests, and assisting in client portfolio reviews.

Location: Seattle, WA

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide research and marketing support to the department director and team.
• Proofread/edit presentations and reports, create charts/tables, and distribute materials.
• Maintain and develop investment reports, templates, intranet site, databases, and organized files.
• Respond to ad hoc research requests from financial advisors via phone/email.
• Assist in client portfolio reviews and proposals using asset allocation portfolios and approved research lists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, marketing or related field
• Series 7 & 65/66, or willingness to obtain
• 2+ years experience in financial services, preferably with advisors
• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Articulate, confident, able to work independently and in a team in fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Progress toward CFA or CAIA charter
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Morningstar Direct
