Salary: 600–900 PLN per man-day (B2B)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for a greenfield fintech platform.
• Implement complex business logic using Java and the Spring framework within an event-driven architecture.
• Design database schemas, write queries, and ensure data integrity using PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional squad including Tech Leads, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers.
• Participate in architectural decisions, technical discussions, and code reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of clean, testable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, MVC, or Cloud).
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Fluent English proficiency (C1) for professional communication.
• Ability to work hybrid from the specified Polish office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization.
• Previous experience in the financial services or banking domain.
• Experience working on greenfield projects.
