TL;DR

Senior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin): Developing and maintaining the hirify.global Account portal and associated business applications with an accent on license management and authentication services. Focus on automating business processes, refactoring systems, and reconciling business requirements with technical possibilities.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Munich (Germany), Limassol, Paphos (Cyprus), Prague (Czech Republic), Warsaw (Poland), or Yerevan (Armenia). Relocation support is available.

What you will do

  • Automate various internal business processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Reconcile complex business requirements with technical possibilities.
  • Develop web functionality, including complex forms and user scenarios.
  • Perform refactoring and optimization of existing systems.
  • Maintain and enhance critical portals like hirify.global Account and License Vault.

Requirements

  • Experience developing web applications using Java or Kotlin.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Ability to design and write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
  • English: B2 level or higher required for communication with international colleagues.
  • Strong team player with sound reasoning and respect for others' perspectives.

Nice to have

  • Deep experience coding specifically in Kotlin.
  • Comfortability taking on tasks with ambiguous requirements.
  • Creative thinking for analyzing information and suggesting alternative technical solutions.
