TL;DR

Internal Tooling Engineer (AI): Build tools and AI-powered automation that accelerate hirify.global's engineering and cross-functional teams with an accent on agentic workflows, internal process automation, and integration of cutting-edge AI tools. Focus on designing reliable solutions for internal stakeholders, evaluating AI engineering advancements, and contributing to polyglot infrastructure.

Location: Based in Europe, within 2 hours of Paris time zone (CET/CEST), able to attend onsite weeks in Paris every 6 weeks (travel and accommodation covered). We are not set up to hire outside this range.

Compensation: EUR 52-62k (Level 2), EUR 65-75k (Level 3), EUR 78-88k (Level 4) + stock options. Open from Level 2 to Level 4 depending on experience.

What you will do

  • Own design, development, and maintenance of internal tools used by engineering, ops, product, and finance.
  • Build agentic AI workflows to automate repetitive processes and enable new team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify friction and deliver functional solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate latest AI engineering tools to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Contribute to polyglot codebase (Rust, Ruby, PostgreSQL) and shared infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Software engineer with high-paced environment experience
  • Shipped automated workflows and AI-powered tools in production (n8n, Dust, or equivalent)
  • Built tools for internal users, prioritizing reliability over polish
  • Navigate polyglot codebase (Rust, Ruby, PostgreSQL) efficiently
  • Based in Europe, within 2h of Paris TZ, able to attend Paris onsite every 6 weeks

Nice to have

  • Experience with developer experience or platform engineering
  • Familiarity with fintech or regulated industry
  • Passion for personal finance and investing
