TL;DR

AI Engineer (LLM): Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI capabilities for video platform products including agentic advertising systems and automated creative optimization with an accent on LLM application engineering, scalable backend services, and product execution. Focus on architecting reusable APIs, defining metrics for task success and safety, owning end-to-end quality through evaluations and monitoring, and establishing AI engineering best practices.

What you will do

• Lead design, development, and evolution of AI-powered features and platform capabilities from concept to production.
• Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic systems for video platform challenges.
• Architect APIs, data contracts, and shared libraries for reusable AI capabilities.
• Define and track metrics like task success rate, hallucination proxies, safety flags, latency, and cost.
• Own end-to-end quality including offline evaluation, online experiments, monitoring, and iterative improvements.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Data, Security, and ML teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience, ideally ML Engineer or Software Engineer with deep AI focus
• Proficiency in Golang or Python
• Solid LLM application engineering: embeddings, RAG, prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation frameworks
• Experience integrating model platforms like Vertex AI with production reliability patterns
• Strong fundamentals: system design, testing, CI/CD, observability, clean architecture
• Ability to drive solutions from ambiguous requirements to production

Nice to have

• Experience with retrieval systems, ingestion pipelines for knowledge bases
• Familiarity with AI safety, compliance, moderation, PII detection
• Optimizing distributed systems for performance and cost
• Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
