Location: Paris with 3 days remote per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-driven features
• Build Python applications integrating AI models and services in production
• Work with Python stack and legacy PHP in monolithic and microservice architectures
• Solve challenges in video processing, content management, and scalability
• Make architectural decisions balancing technical excellence and business needs
• Produce technical specifications, participate in code reviews, and champion best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years backend development experience with production-scale systems
• Python mastery and experience with PHP (or willingness to work on legacy PHP)
• Solid fundamentals: APIs, databases, caching, queuing, distributed systems
• Modern architecture: asynchronous processing, event-driven systems
• API design (REST, GraphQL), cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Git, CI/CD
• English mandatory as team's daily language; French a plus
• Autonomy and responsiveness in communications

Nice to have

• Comfort with AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT for development tasks
• Experience in startups or production environments with limited resources
• Ability to write clear technical specs
