Portfolio Administrator/Trader (Fintech)

What you will do

• Execute fixed income and equity trades for individual accounts and block orders.
• Analyze current and prospective client portfolios to support investment strategy implementation and tax loss harvesting.
• Maintain portfolio models and client portfolios in the portfolio accounting system, including trading restrictions.
• Coordinate trade order allocations between custodians and executing brokers, and resolve discrepancies to support timely settlement.
• Perform post-trade compliance checks and improve workflows, processes, and team efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of equity and/or fixed income trading experience within an RIA, broker-dealer, trust company, or other financial services firm.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, multitask, and provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented responses.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with a detail-oriented ownership mindset.
