What you will do
- Oversee daily operational activities including account administration, trading support, reconciliation, data integrity, and system workflows.
- Ensure processes are documented, scalable, and supported by strong internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Lead, mentor, and develop an operations team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and fostering a high-performing environment.
- Evaluate workflows for efficiency, automation, and improvements; lead firm-wide initiatives like system enhancements and vendor transitions.
- Prepare operational reporting and metrics for senior management and serve as expert on operational systems and third-party providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 7-10 years progressive experience in operations within investment adviser, asset manager, or financial services firm.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
- Familiarity with portfolio accounting, trading, and custody platforms.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain effective operational processes and controls.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; collaborative mindset.
