Business Intelligence Analyst

TL;DR

Business Intelligence Analyst: Analyze customer service data including telephony and IVR to influence business and product strategy with an accent on deep-dive analyses, metrics development, and data storytelling. Focus on designing dashboards in Looker, creating analytical layers in SQL databases, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

What you will do

• Influence business and product strategy through data-driven insights
• Analyze customer service data, telephony, and IVR to deliver actionable business insights
• Develop metrics for customer service teams and create visualizations and presentations
• Design dashboards and reports in Looker for partner teams
• Build and maintain analytical presentation layers in SQL databases
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Finance, Economics, behavioral sciences, or similar quantitative field
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in customer care
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with large, complex datasets
• Ability to tell stories with data, make actionable recommendations, and drive business changes
• Strong business judgment, entrepreneurial drive, and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with Looker, Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools
• Experience with subscription-business models, marketing-driven businesses, web analytics, e-commerce payments
