Location: Fully remote (France only) or Paris-based in the 3rd arrondissement

What you will do
- Iterate rapidly: experiment, test with users, and consolidate successful features prioritizing speed and learning
- Ship high-impact features for millions of users, taking calculated risks and pragmatic shortcuts
- Build and scale REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services for mobile apps
- Collaborate with iOS/Android devs, Product, and QA on shared product ownership
- Evolve async, event-driven architecture with messaging for growth
- Drive performance, reliability, observability, and proactive ownership
Requirements
- Fluent in English + French mandatory
- 5-10 years of experience minimum
- Strong Python (asyncio) and SQL databases skills
- Experience designing scalable APIs and event-driven architectures (queues/messaging)
- Data-driven decision-making and analytics interest
- Results-oriented with pragmatic solutions
Nice to have
- Experience in B2C startups scaling products from 0 to 1
- Interest in AI/ML for consumer products
- Side projects demonstrating building passion
- Fast-paced cross-functional team experience
- Mobile-first architecture familiarity
