What you will do

• Iterate rapidly: experiment, test with users, and consolidate successful features prioritizing speed and learning
• Ship high-impact features for millions of users, taking calculated risks and pragmatic shortcuts
• Build and scale REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services for mobile apps
• Collaborate with iOS/Android devs, Product, and QA on shared product ownership
• Evolve async, event-driven architecture with messaging for growth
• Drive performance, reliability, observability, and proactive ownership

Requirements

• Fluent in English + French mandatory
• 5-10 years of experience minimum
• Strong Python (asyncio) and SQL databases skills
• Experience designing scalable APIs and event-driven architectures (queues/messaging)
• Data-driven decision-making and analytics interest
• Results-oriented with pragmatic solutions

Nice to have

• Experience in B2C startups scaling products from 0 to 1
• Interest in AI/ML for consumer products
• Side projects demonstrating building passion
• Fast-paced cross-functional team experience
• Mobile-first architecture familiarity
