What you will do

• Embody continuous improvement and shared ownership with clear documentation and runbooks
• Treat platform capabilities as products: gather requirements, prioritize, iterate, and measure adoption
• Build collaborative relationships with product pods and stakeholders
• Improve system reliability, observability coverage, and infrastructure costs
• Reduce tooling complexity and time-to-production for features and services
• Ensure reliable, standardized deployments with minimal manual intervention

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Deep empathy for developer experience and ability to measure improvements
• Experience leading infrastructure/tooling migrations on platform teams
• Deep AWS expertise with cloud design patterns
• Deep Kubernetes expertise for containerized workloads
• Strong observability with Datadog or Prometheus, Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitOps (Spacelift/Flux)
• Strong project management balancing roadmap and interrupt-driven work

Nice to have

• Frontend or backend development skills
• Experience as project or team lead
• Working embedded with product squads in agile environments
• Use of AI tooling for efficiency
• SQL and caching tuning experience
