Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA), 4 days per week in office. Relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $230,000 – $342,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD systems and software delivery pipelines for both device and cloud environments.
• Lead the architecture of internal platform capabilities including build, test, deployment, and workflow automation.
• Improve developer productivity by shortening feedback loops across debugging, environment setup, and release workflows.
• Create self-serve paved-road workflows to reduce manual effort and increase adoption of engineering tasks.
• Integrate AI-native tooling and automation to enhance failure triage and developer output quality.
• Build secure-by-default capabilities including access controls, secrets management, and policy enforcement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience building developer productivity tools, CI/CD, or internal platforms.
• Proven track record of building platform features that materially increase engineering velocity and reliability.
• Working knowledge of secure software delivery practices (least-privilege access, supply chain hardening).
• Must be based in or relocate to San Francisco, CA to support a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, Buildkite, Bazel, Postgres, Cosmos DB, or Kafka.
• Experience adapting technical decisions to the scaling stage of a fast-growing organization.
