What you will do

• Design and implement automation framework with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) fixtures using Pytest.
• Create systems and processes to shift from manual to automated testing.
• Implement robust CI for unit and system-level tests.
• Triage defects from opening to closure, find root causes, and implement solutions.
• Write software project documentation including architecture documents.
• Collaborate closely with firmware team for deep understanding of implementations.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in software test for embedded systems.
• Write, debug, and review Python code.

Nice to have

• ARM CPUs, Embedded Linux, reading C/C++.
• Design and build automated test systems from lab equipment, electronics, firmware.
• Guide teams on code development best practices.
• Hardware-control libraries and automated tests.
• Manage data using Git and Jira APIs.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and technical writing.
