NOC Engineer

Location: On-site in Mexico City (3 days per week in local office)

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve complex network and customer issues using monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting.
• Plan, manage, and implement network changes from engineering and suppliers.
• Provide escalation support, root cause analysis, and proactive incident communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and support engineers for seamless issue resolution and projects.
• Maintain documentation, share knowledge, and ensure team coverage through shift rotations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in logical troubleshooting and resolving complex networking issues
• Deep knowledge of IP configurations, VLANs, MAC management, switching, routing, optical networking.
• Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, OpenGear; protocols like MPLS, OSPF, BGP.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Degree in IT/Networking or related; CCNA/CCNP desirable.
• Proactive monitoring, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones.
