Salary: $140,000 - $165,000

What you will do

• Lead technical design and development of finance-related features for Dentrix Ascend
• Write clean, efficient Java code using Spring Boot, TDD, and clean architecture principles
• Contribute to system architecture focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to build robust solutions
• Troubleshoot complex issues and partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in Agile ceremonies

Requirements

• 8+ years building backend software with Java and Spring Boot for enterprise applications
• Experience as team or tech lead preferred
• Expertise in microservices, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and testing
• Understanding of domain-driven design and cross-team roadmaps
• Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban
• Strong communication, mentoring, and estimation skills within 6–12-month timelines

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Interest in management or leadership roles
• Experience in healthcare or finance domains
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms
• Experience with LLMs or AI technologies for code generation
