Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack/Cybersecurity): Developing and scaling the hirify.global Privilege Secure (NPS) Discovery platform for discovering and securing sensitive enterprise data with an accent on cloud-enabled scalability and data classification. Focus on building backend services, REST APIs, and React-based user interfaces to reduce security risks.

Location: Kraków, Poland (Remote-first/Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain production-quality features for data discovery and classification.
• Build and enhance backend services and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and Redux.
• Contribute to systems that process and analyze large volumes of data.
• Participate in technical design discussions and implement effective solutions through code reviews.
• Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and React + Redux.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, queries, aggregations) and Docker/Docker Compose.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SAML) and directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID).
• English: Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang, gRPC, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Exposure to data security, DLP, or data classification solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines.
