What you will do

• Architect and evolve core platform systems including data services, APIs, orchestration, and automation layers.
• Design scalable distributed architectures supporting performance, reliability, and security in enterprise environments.
• Prototype, implement, and optimize core system components hands-on in the codebase.
• Co-lead technical direction, establish best practices for service design, observability, and maintainability.
• Support deployment via Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align architecture with business goals.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including Senior capacity
• Proficiency in Ruby (specifically Rails), Python bonus
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems or platform architectures
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes/container orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, API design, and microservices
• Ability to lead architectural initiatives across systems or teams
• Strong collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills

Nice to have

• Experience with data synchronization, event-driven systems, or pipeline automation
• Familiarity with data processing, classification, governance platforms, or developer tools/SDKs
• Understanding of hybrid or air-gapped deployment models
