Software Engineer (Java/AWS)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk, Poland (3 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1100 - 1500 PLN per man-day (B2B)

What you will do

• Design and develop cloud-based tools for creating aeronautical data products.
• Build automated solutions for data production and delivery.
• Optimize relational and spatial databases using PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Implement and maintain microservices architecture within AWS.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Ensure high code quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
• Proven track record of building custom ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating services in AWS (EKS, Terraform).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and PostGIS for spatial data optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work from Gdańsk, Poland

Nice to have

• Familiarity with aviation standards (DO-200, DO-330, ARINC-424, DO-272).
• Experience with regulatory-compliant software (e.g., medical devices).
