What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable REST APIs to power products.
• Build and optimize backend services using Golang and Python for resilience and performance.
• Design database schemas and queries to support features and business needs.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, designers, product managers, and quality engineers on end-to-end features.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; contribute to automated testing coverage.
• Monitor system health, improve logging/metrics, performance, and scalability.
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and propose architecture improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years in backend or full-stack development with hands-on Golang and/or Python experience
• Strong understanding of designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., Gin, Django)
• Experience with unit and integration testing in Golang/Python
• Awareness of scaling backend services and performance optimization patterns
• Comfort using AI tools like GitHub Copilot in daily workflow
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration in agile environment

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• gRPC services
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
