What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters on-prem (Galleon data centers) and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), including networking (CNI, Ingress) and storage (PV/PVC, CSI).
• Administer cluster health, performance, monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and capacity; optimize for edge environments.
• Drive IaC with Terraform, Ansible, Helm; automate CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operations.
• Implement Kubernetes security (RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets); troubleshoot complex issues.
• Manage Azure Stack HCI; integrate new Kubernetes technologies; collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams.
• Maintain documentation, participate in on-call, incident management, and build self-healing capabilities.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• 7+ years in DevSecOps/SRE/platform engineering; 5+ years hands-on production Kubernetes (on-prem/bare-metal).
• 3+ years deep Linux administration/troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Kubernetes architecture, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), scripting (Python/Bash), monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK).
• Strong networking/container networking/security knowledge (RBAC, Network Policies).
• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent; ability to work independently and collaborate.

Nice to have

• Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins), Docker, Ansible playbooks.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKS/CKAD), operators/CRDs, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
• Experience in edge/resource-constrained environments.
