Azure Principal Software Engineer

TL;DR

Azure Principal Software Engineer (Azure): Lead client engagement, project leadership, and technical solution design of Azure solutions with an accent on complex Azure services including compute, data stores, APIs, AI, DevOps, and integrations. Focus on architecting highly complex solutions, decomposing large-scale requirements, estimating efforts, and driving successful delivery of multi-workstream projects with global teams.

Location: Austin, TX (Remote eligible, US-based)

Salary: $170,000 - $210,000 a year

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales and delivery to develop client proposals, roadmaps, and explain technical concepts.
• Act as trusted advisor to executive-level client stakeholders on complex designs.
• Lead technical requirements elicitation, design, scoping for large-scale projects.
• Decompose requirements into tasks, estimate efforts, and lead project delivery.
• Identify problems, own solutions, raise risks, and collaborate on mitigations.

Requirements

• 5+ years Agile delivery experience
• 5+ years leading consulting projects on 8+ Azure areas: Compute, Data Stores, Messaging, APIs, AI & Search, DevOps, etc.
• 5+ years with 6+ tools: .NET Core/C#, Angular/React/Blazor, Flutter/React Native, Entity Framework/Dapper, CI/CD & IaC
• 3+ Azure certifications (AZ204, AZ400, AZ102 recommended)
• Ability to architect complex solutions and proven track record of large-scale delivery.
• Desire to learn and adapt to technologies.
