Salary: $25-35/hour (training period up to first 60 hours at 75% of agreed rate)

What you will do

• Edit fundraising and advocacy emails for accuracy, syntax, punctuation, grammar, spelling, and typos.
• Conduct thorough fact-checking.
• Perform technical QA on email tests and landing pages, checking tracking, URLs, rendering, and functionality.
• Ensure emails align with internal and client-specific styles while retaining a compelling, authentic voice.

Requirements

• At least one year in an editing-adjacent position or internship
• Ability to work weekdays, at least during training period
• Experience using a style guide (AP or otherwise)
• Discipline to read carefully, think critically, and strive for perfection
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Ability to review short copy on tight deadlines
• Passion for progressive activism and social change

Nice to have

• Ability to parse policy
• Experience with email/SMS functionality or user experience
• Familiarity with Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word
