Associate Content Strategist

TL;DR

Associate Content Strategist: Crafting email, SMS, website, advertising, and social media copy for nonprofits and political campaigns with an accent on compelling, authentic voice and persuasive storytelling. Location: Remote flexibility within specific US states: AZ, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, WI. Must reside in one of these states. Currently fully remote with no return to office.

Salary: $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Temporary position ending no later than January 8, 2027.

What you will do

• Write email, SMS, website, advertising, and social media copy.
• Maintain compelling, authentic voice for nonprofit leaders, Democratic officials, and political challengers.
• Contribute to multiple client projects in deadline-driven environment.
• Participate in collaborative brainstorms and planning sessions.
• Analyze performance data to inform future messaging.

Requirements

• Introductory writing experience (internships, speeches, emails in others' voice, team content, school paper).
• Out-of-the-box thinking and bold ideas.
• Comfort with feedback and live edits.
• Curiosity about word choice and rationale.
• Passion for social change.
