What you will do

• Prepare and send payroll inputs to vendors for compensation calculation.
• Maintain employee master data and produce payroll system reports.
• Resolve payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate general ledger interfaces and month-end reports with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external government requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is required.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
• Must be based in Penang, Malaysia for a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with payroll accounting and SOX.
• Experience with automation.
