What you will do

• Perform month-end closing and maintain the integrity of accounting for all legal entities.
• Prepare full financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage statutory reporting, audit preparations, and consolidate financial statements.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and the HQ finance team in Montreal regarding tax, treasury, and accounting.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts and support budget and forecast exercises.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, Ihirify.globalW, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in multinational organizations with multi-entity and multi-country environments.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS and IFRS accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Must be based in or able to work in Sepang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud.
