Salary: €63,400 - €76,100 gross per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of professional rigour.
• Oversee the full group closing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
• Review and validate complex group consolidations, including French subsidiary data.
• Ensure full compliance with Dutch/French GAAP and oversee internal control systems.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure efficient audits and tax planning.
• Optimize Cash Flow, Tax, and Treasury functions to provide strategic oversight of liquidity.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a senior/lead accountant or in a comparable position.
• Fluent in English (French is a significant advantage).
• Experience in consolidating financial figures and management reporting.
• Expertise in Dutch or French GAAP.
• Deep understanding of cash flows, accounting, and fiscal implications.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Rotterdam office.

Nice to have

• Certified or Chartered Accountant and/or Controller qualification.
• Experience working in a Big 4 or Small 5 auditing firm.
• Experience with ERP implementations and payment service providers.
