What you will do

• Develop high-quality vertically-integrated C++ software systems for both on-vehicle and off-vehicle autonomous vehicle functions.
• Analyze field data logs and simulation results to improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in cross-functional workflows, including requirement reviews and project planning.

Requirements

• Degree (BS, MS) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience developing production software in modern C++.
• Advanced knowledge of C++ patterns, idioms, and unit test methodology.
• Must be based in or able to work in Mountain View, California according to a hybrid work schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and troubleshooting distributed systems, particularly embedded systems.
• In-depth understanding of microcontroller-based embedded systems and associated debugging tools.
• Working experience with safety-critical systems and functional safety.
• Experience with cybersecurity (e.g., Secure Boot, SecOC, MACSec).
