What you will do

• Conduct external façade assessments and survey investigations using PAS 9980 methodology and the EWS1 process.
• Perform active and passive fire protection systems surveys and produce high-standard technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with British Fire Safety Legislation and standards including ADB, BS9999, BS9991, and BS7974.
• Provide third-party oversight for fire stopping and fire compartmentation installations.
• Manage a professional client base and deliver conclusive technical reports via bespoke software.
• Provide coaching, training, and CPD presentations to junior team members and graduates.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying, Fire Safety Management, or a similar discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own private vehicle.
• Extensive experience in intrusive external wall surveys for high-rise residential, office, and historic buildings.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, fire performance of external wall materials, and cavity barriers.
• Ability to author detailed technical reports using MS Word and digital fire protection software.
• Capability to work independently, manage workloads, and travel regularly across the UK.
