Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel (requires working from the office four times a week)

What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of high-quality, scalable software.
• Introduce and improve engineering best practices, including documentation, testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and R&D teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall software engineering experience, preferably in fast-paced environments.
• 5+ years of programming experience with Python focused on backend development.
• Proven track record of building and delivering large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Must be based in Tel Aviv and able to work from the office 4 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and modern cloud stacks.
