What you will do

• Design, build, and scale backend systems powering real-time decisioning and APIs.
• Own projects end-to-end from design and implementation to production rollout and monitoring.
• Ensure systems maintain low-latency, fault-tolerance, and high-throughput in distributed environments.
• Enhance observability, reliability, and developer experience through strong operational practices.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to drive innovation.
• Provide technical expertise and clear communication during customer interactions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building backend systems in large-scale production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Kotlin, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proven ability to design and maintain high-scale distributed systems.
• Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with API Gateway architectures or schema versioning strategies.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks like Flink or Storm.
• Background working alongside data science or machine learning teams.
