What you will do

• Conduct external façade assessments and survey investigations following PAS 9980 and EWS1 processes.
• Carry out active and passive fire protection systems surveys and author comprehensive technical reports.
• Assess compliance with British Fire Safety Legislation and standards, including ADB, BS9999, BS9991, and BS7974.
• Perform third-party oversight of fire stopping and fire compartmentation installations.
• Inspect fire doors to confirm non-conformities with reference to BS8214.
• Manage a client base and provide in-house CPD presentations in your specialist field.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying, Fire Safety Management, or a similar discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own private vehicle.
• Experience carrying out intrusive external wall surveys on various building types (high-rise, retail, historic, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, fire performance of materials, and passive fire protection products.
• Ability to author technical reports using digital fire protection software and Microsoft Word.
• Capability to provide coaching and training to junior team members and graduates.
