What you will do

• Lead the design and layout of automatic fire sprinkler systems according to NFPA standards and local codes.
• Generate technical specifications for water-based fire protection systems.
• Perform and review hydraulic calculations, system sizing, and material take-offs for fire pumps and controllers.
• Act as the owner's representative during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct field surveys and site walks to verify installation quality and code compliance.
• Coordinate with AHJs to support permitting, reviews, and project approvals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fire protection system design or consulting, specifically with automatic sprinkler systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, or similar software.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25.

Nice to have

• NICET Water-Based Systems Layout Certification (Level II or higher strongly preferred).
• Experience in fire protection design for large-scale industrial facilities.
