What you will do

• Design and build features using Node.js (TypeScript), AWS, Azure, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Lead technical breakdown of complex requirements into modular tasks and own engineering estimations for large initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams to align roadmaps and advocate for architectural improvements.
• Implement cutting-edge identity protocols like OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML.
• Maintain and operate services at large scale, including on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on system design, code quality, and career development.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or similar.
• Experience building highly reliable, maintainable, scalable systems.
• Thorough understanding of application and cloud security best practices.
• Systematic problem-solving, strong communication, ownership, and track record influencing strategy on multi-quarter projects.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred) and large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote environment; enthusiasm for identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).

• Existing knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
• Security engineering and application security experience.
