What you will do

• Lead fire alarm and mass notification system design from concept through construction, including layouts, riser diagrams, and calculations.
• Develop code-compliant drawings, specifications, and technical reports using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Act as the owner's representative during the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site assessments and field surveys to evaluate existing installations.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff regarding NICET development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in fire alarm system design, consulting, or inspection.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ, or travel weekly to the job site.

Nice to have

• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II or higher strongly preferred).
• Proficiency with ASPIRE™ software.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and IBC codes.
• Experience with integrated life safety solutions and mass notification systems.
