TL;DR

S6 CMS/Pick Technician (Semiconductor): Perform hands-on operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced manufacturing equipment for wafer production and die prep with an accent on cleanroom protocols, equipment calibration, and process optimization. Focus on executing quality control, preventative maintenance, and collaborating with engineering on improvements to ensure high uptime and efficiency under production demands.

Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, US. Must be willing to work CWW night shift (S6) Wednesday-Friday e/o Saturday 1900-0730. This role is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $51,710 - $73,010 USD annually (hourly role).

What you will do

  • Operate, maintain, repair, and calibrate manufacturing equipment for wafer production to meet standards.
  • Collect data, adjust settings, and optimize processes for efficiency.
  • Perform quality control on materials and products.
  • Dismantle, repair, and assemble equipment using manuals and schematics.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with engineering on improvements.
  • Log data, document procedures, and communicate shift pass-downs.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work CWW night shift (S6) Wednesday-Friday e/o Saturday 1900-0730.
  • This role is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.
  • High school diploma/GED plus 1+ year technical certification, military experience, equipment maintenance, or Associate of Science (STEM) with 6+ months experience.
  • Experience with basic hand tools, cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and PPE.
  • Experience as Die Prep technician with CMS.

Nice to have

  • 6+ months with Die Prep/Wafer Assembly tools and software.
  • Current contingent worker for ODP Die Prep (CMS).
  • Knowledge of electromechanical systems, robotics, actuators, microcontrollers.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Competency in computer navigation and Microsoft Office.
