What you will do

• Build and maintain core infrastructure for Federal Data Platform using Python, Go, and AWS technologies for automation and reliability.
• Design and implement secure, automated CI/CD pipelines in partnership with data engineers.
• Enhance software delivery processes with pipeline automation, tools, and configuration management.
• Investigate and remediate operational issues in regulated environments, collaborating with DevOps teams.
• Own vulnerability management lifecycle, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards like FedRAMP and STIGs.
• Implement monitoring and automated security checks in code repositories and pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years automating and deploying large-scale production services in AWS, especially containerized services (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitLab.
• Experience in AWS network engineering and IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 3+ years hands-on with Python, Go, or similar backend languages.
• Security experience with system hardening, STIGs, vulnerability tools (Nessus, Qualys, Trivy).
• Proven record of building automated systems for software delivery.
• U.S. Person status required for federal access.
