What you will do

• Shape architecture and design principles for the internal data platform across Finance, Sales, and HR.
• Lead cross-functional data initiatives from problem framing through delivery.
• Define and enforce RBAC frameworks, row access policies, and masking policies at scale.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted data workflows by integrating LLM-powered tools and Cortex Agents.
• Set technical standards for dbt, including modeling conventions, testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices.
• Identify and resolve systemic data quality, performance, and reliability issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in hirify.global (Cortex, Dynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks) and advanced data modeling.
• Expert-level dbt skills (Core/Platform), including macro development and CI/CD integration.
• Strong proficiency with AI development tools, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale RBAC frameworks and role hierarchies.
• Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA

Nice to have

• Experience working at a tech company with a large-scale internal data platform.
• Familiarity with Python for data pipeline development and automation.
• Experience presenting technical content to external audiences or at conferences.
• Production experience with hirify.global Cortex AI or GenAI-native data tooling.
