Process Improvement Specialist - Strategy: Supports business process and project-specific improvement activities according to ISO 9001:2015 principles with an accent on gathering and analyzing process performance data, tracking cost of quality, and implementing changes. Focus on creating PARs/CARs, conducting QMS training, supporting RCAs, and monitoring project quality results.

Location: Overland Park, KS, US (hybrid environment). Relocation not eligible. Visa sponsorship not available. Periodic travel required.

What you will do

• Support assigned QA processes by gathering information, analyzing performance, and providing trend reports.
• Create Preventive Action Requests (PARs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), deviations, and implement process changes.
• Track, analyze, and communicate cost of quality; perform financial validation for projects.
• Monitor, measure, and document quality results; support implementation of project quality process changes including QMS documents.
• Conduct QMS training based on trends; support process improvement tools like RCAs.
• Interface with multiple project teams; implement safety, quality, code of conduct, and performance management.

Requirements

• 4-year degree from accredited university (technical or business preferred) or equivalent; minimum 6 years quality industry experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001:2015.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; understanding of performance metrics and financial measures.
• Ability to analyze data, manage small projects, conduct training, and solve problems.
• Capable of pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records.
• All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of industrial design and construction.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 principles and software in engineering business.
• Intermediate skills in process management, conflict management, communications.
