Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will do

• Collate, analyze, and monitor process and quality metrics against objectives.
• Author technical reports on quality levels, problems, and costs.
• Optimize manufacturability, assembly, testability, cost, and quality of components and products.
• Implement PFMEA and new programs to mitigate risks in tooling and processes.
• Conduct corrective actions, internal audits, and failure analysis.
• Develop quality systems using Six Sigma, SPC, GRR, and other techniques; collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3+ years in quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Solid background in Six Sigma (green belt minimum, black belt preferred).
• Experience with electrical connectors, harnesses, equipment manufacturing, testing, and processes.
• Knowledge of UL/CSA, ISO 9001, IPC-620, and SolidWorks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Black belt in Six Sigma.
• Experience with suppliers and cross-division collaboration.
