Legal Counsel

TL;DR

Legal Counsel: Provide practical, business-oriented legal support across regulatory and operational matters including GDPR, DSA compliance, reviewing and drafting legal documentation. Focus on handling platform-related requests, supporting moderation and enforcement workflows, and ensuring timely execution of legal tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus (fully equipped office in city center). EU-based employment contract.

What you will do

• Provide counsel on commercial topics including Digital Services Act, GDPR, labor law, corporate law.
• Handle operational legal processes such as GDPR, IP, DMCA.
• Review, amend, and prepare legal documents and terms & conditions.
• Assist with international compliance, regulatory issues, and jurisdiction-specific matters with external counsel.
• Advise departments daily to safeguard against legal risks.
• Support Operations, Moderation, and CLO on ad hoc tasks and platform safety.

Requirements

• Law degree from a reputable EU university
• At least 3 years experience as Legal Counsel in international business or law firm
• Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedures
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Sound judgement, professional ethics, and ability to analyze situations
