What you will do

• Serve as on-set DIT/Media Manager for active productions.
• Ingest, transcode, organize, and archive footage.
• Prep and sync multi-cam footage, create string outs, and assembly cuts.
• Collaborate with Post-Production Coordinators to manage assets.
• Troubleshoot technical post-production issues and address edit notes.
• Oversee quality control (QC) and exporting of final deliverables.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience assistant editing digital content.
• Advanced proficiency with Mac OS and Google Suite.
• Expertise in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Deep understanding of video codecs, formats, and timecode.
• Ability to work on-location in San Diego and Temecula.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of social media and digital video platforms.
• Experience with camera operation, lighting, and sound design.
• Experience with proxy-based workflows, SANs, and MAMs.
• Skills in GFX/VFX design.
